Vehicle logbook
The record of a vehicle's trips: date, driver, purpose, odometer at the start and at the end. The Excel version works out business, personal and commuting kilometers; the PDF version prints and stays in the glove box.
A logbook records every trip a vehicle makes and why. For a French company car assessed on actual costs, it evidences the share of personal kilometers used in the benefit in kind. For a pool or service vehicle, it shows who used it, when and why.

No text requires a set logbook format. It is evidence: who used the vehicle, when and why. It becomes useful as soon as business use or a share of personal kilometers has to be justified.
For a company car assessed on actual costs, the benefit in kind is based on the share of personal kilometers. The logbook is the record that evidences it. See the benefit-in-kind calculator.
