What the Assignments module brings

What a badly assigned fleet costs
- A vehicle with no driver is still a vehicle being paid for: lease, insurance and downtime run on while it sleeps in a car park.
- The pool is booked by message or by spreadsheet: two employees leave in the same vehicle, a third rents one outside.
- Nobody knows who was driving on the 12th: the fine, the claim or the expense check arrives with no driver to match it.

Your questions before getting started
- “Do I need a device?” No. Assignment and scheduling work without telematics; a GPS-OBD device or a connected vehicle then adds the trips and the odometers.
- “Our sales people have their own dedicated vehicle.” Named assignment stays a full mode of its own: the pool is opened vehicle by vehicle, where sharing makes sense.
- “How long does it take to start?” As soon as vehicles and employees are imported, the schedule fills up and unassigned vehicles appear.
