How do you track the fuel consumption of a vehicle fleet?

By attaching each fuel card to a vehicle, keeping the history of fill-ups and charges, then cross-checking those volumes with recorded mileage. Fleet management software does that reconciliation automatically and flags gaps between the volume purchased and the capacity of the vehicle.

How do you detect fuel theft on a company vehicle?

Two complementary means: a telematics fuel theft signal, sent by the device when the level drops without the engine running, and an anomaly rule that compares card transactions with the vehicle (volume, frequency, distance). Dadycar offers both, with an adjustable threshold and a notification.

Can electric charging and fill-ups be tracked in the same tool?

Yes. Dadycar keeps a fuel history and a charging history per vehicle, shows the state of charge of electric vehicles and the energy mix of the fleet in the dashboard. A mixed fleet is managed on the same screen.

How do you reconcile a fuel card invoice with the vehicles?

By attaching each card to a vehicle and keeping the issuer's invoices on the card record. Dadycar shows, per card, the issuer, the limit and the downloadable invoices; transactions inconsistent with the vehicle are flagged by the anomaly engine.

Do you need a telematics device to track fuel?
