Fleet traffic offence management: ANTAI notices and parking charges handled in time

Every fine notice finds its driver, every post-parking charge is handled before the surcharge, with no in-tray and no spreadsheet.

What the Offences module changes

  • 45 days to name the driver after a fine notice, or face a non-designation fine (ANTAI).
  • Three queues in a single module: ANTAI notices, post-parking charges (FPS), ANTAI vehicles.
  • With no device: the driver is found through vehicle assignments, not through telematics.

When notices pile up at head office

  • The notice arrives in the company's name, the vehicle is on a site 300 km away and the driver has changed in the meantime.
  • The 45-day deadline runs while the letter travels from department to department.
  • A parking charge is not a fine: it follows another route, nobody handles it, and it is increased.

What you get with Dadycar

The Offences module relies on the data already in the software: vehicles, drivers, assignments, documents. You handle the case instead of searching for it.

ANTAI notices per vehicle

Every notice received is recorded with its vehicle, its date and its handling status, through to closure.

Driver found through the assignment

The assignment history gives the driver assigned at the date and time of the offence.

Designation prepared and tracked

The information to enter on antai.gouv.fr is gathered in the file; the designation deadline is visible for every notice.

Post-parking charges (FPS)

Post-parking charges have their own queue, separate from fines, with the vehicle, the period and the assigned driver.

ANTAI vehicles kept up to date

The list of vehicles declared to the ANTAI is maintained from the fleet, including arrivals and departures.

Compliance in the dashboard

Offences feed the compliance tab, filterable by site and by period, with deadline reminders.

How it works

  1. 1Import vehicles, drivers and assignments. The assignment history is the basis of every designation (ANTAI integration).
  2. 2Record each notice in its queue. ANTAI fine or post-parking charge: the file opens with the vehicle, the assigned driver and the documents already attached.
  3. 3Designate and close within the deadline. The time remaining is visible per notice; reminders warn the owner before the deadline.

Your questions before getting started

  • “Do I need a device?” No. The driver is found through the vehicle assignment; telematics adds the position of the vehicle at the time of the offence.
  • “What if the driver objects?” The file keeps the assignment, the site and the documents: you have what you need to answer.
  • “How long does it take to start?” As soon as vehicles and assignments are imported, the notices received can be attached.

Frequently asked questions

How long do you have to name a driver after a fine notice?

The company has 45 days from the sending of the notice to name the driver (article L121-6 of the French Highway Code). After that, the legal entity faces a non-designation fine of €675 (fixed), €450 reduced or €1,875 increased (ANTAI).

How do you name a driver on the ANTAI for a company vehicle?

Online at antai.gouv.fr with the notice references, or by registered letter with the form attached to the notice (service-public.fr). Dadycar identifies the driver assigned to the vehicle at the date of the offence and gathers the information to enter.

What is a post-parking charge and who pays it in a company?

The post-parking charge has replaced the parking fine in paid parking zones since 2018. Its amount is set by the municipality. The payment notice is sent to the holder of the registration certificate, therefore to the company for a fleet vehicle (service-public.fr).

What happens if a post-parking charge is not paid within 3 months?

It is increased by 20 % of the amount still due, with a minimum of €50, and an enforceable order is issued for recovery (service-public.fr). Tracking parking charges in Dadycar is there to handle them before that deadline.

How do you dispute a post-parking charge?

Through a mandatory prior administrative appeal (RAPO) within one month of notification, to the municipality or its contractor. If it is rejected or unanswered within a month, the appeal continues before the Commission du contentieux du stationnement payant (service-public.fr).

Do you need a telematics device to manage offences?

No. Attaching a notice to the driver relies on the history of vehicle assignments in Dadycar. With a GPS-OBD device or a connected vehicle, the position and the trips of the vehicle at the time of the offence complete the file.
