Home charging reimbursement, with no charge point and no expense claim
To reimburse home charging of an electric company vehicle, you need the kWh charged and their price. The Dadycar Home charging module measures them from the vehicle, with no charge point, values them at the employee's electricity contract and prepares the payroll export, without ever keeping the home location.

What home charging costs the fleet manager
- The kWh stay invisible. Without a connected charge point, neither the volume, nor the time, nor the vehicle charged comes back.
- Reimbursement is done by hand. Expense claims, allowances, meter readings: every month, the same re-keying.
- The justification stays weak. An amount tied to neither a vehicle nor kWh is hard to defend, while an expense reimbursed at actual cost is reimbursed on receipts (URSSAF).
What the Home charging module does
Each session shows its measurement source and its level of proof. Energy is measured on the vehicle side, then corrected for charging losses.
Sessions detected without a charge point
Charging comes back from the Dadycar device or the connected vehicle, on a domestic socket, a cable or a wallbox.
Valued at the real price
The employee's contract (base, off-peak, Tempo), the regulated tariff of their option, or a price set by the company.
Charging losses included
A coefficient per charging mode, shown next to the measured kWh.
Approval on one screen
The month's sessions per driver, anomalies flagged, bulk or line-by-line approval.
Monthly statement and payroll export
For each session: vehicle, date, kWh, tariff, amount and source. One export per period, one line per employee ID.
Privacy respected
For a charge at home, only “home: yes or no” is kept, never the position.
How it works
- 1Charging sessions come in on their own. The Dadycar device or the connected vehicle reports each session, tagged “home: yes or no”.
- 2Each session is valued. At the employee's electricity contract or at a price set by the company, charging losses included.
- 3You approve, payroll imports. Approval at month end, statement per driver and payroll export, one line per employee ID.
Who it is for
- Fleet managers: a monthly close with no re-keying (see the role page).
- Payroll and HR: one record per session and a file ready to import (see the role page).
- Finance departments: energy charged at home in the full cost of each vehicle (see the role page).

The module is for fleets with electric company or service vehicles parked at employees’ homes. It works with Dadycar telematics: device or connected vehicle.
In the same app: the state of charge and charging history of each electric vehicle, charging locations and the benefit-in-kind report.

What we are asked most often
- “Our employees have no charge point.” It is not needed: the measurement comes from the vehicle, including on a domestic socket.
- “Our works council will refuse geolocation.” No position is kept at home, and the driver’s private mode stays active.
- “Our vehicles are not equipped.” A recent connected vehicle sends its data without a device, depending on its make; otherwise, an OBD device is enough.
