Fleet management for couriers and delivery
Managing a fleet of couriers and last-mile delivery means running light vans shared between several rounds, driven by teams that turn over quickly. The point is not the real-time map: it is knowing who was driving which vehicle, at what time and in which zone.

Three facts that matter to an operations manager
- Up to -70 % of the time spent producing reports.
- ANTAI offenses and post-parking charges handled in the same module.
- Energy transition analysis vehicle by vehicle, with the state of charge of electric models.
What goes wrong on an urban delivery fleet
- “A fine arrives, and nobody knows who had the vehicle that day.” Three rounds share the same van, and the designation turns into an investigation.
- “Parking charges come in volume and we pay the surcharge.” With no central tracking, the three-month deadline passes before anything is decided.
- “We do not know which vehicles can still enter the city center.” Traffic restrictions are decided locally and keep changing.
What you get with Dadycar
In urban delivery, the value does not come from the blue dot on the map. It comes from the link between a vehicle, a time slot and a person. Everything else follows: the designation, liability for a claim, the real cost of a round.
ANTAI offenses and parking charges
ANTAI fine notices and post-parking charges are tracked in one module, with the list of vehicles declared to the ANTAI.
Assignments and car sharing
The day, week or month schedule shows which vehicle was assigned or booked, by whom and over which slot. That is the basis of every designation.
RFID badge per employee
Every employee has a record with their RFID badge, their site and their account status, to attach the use of a pool vehicle to a person.
Geofencing of delivery zones
Zones and time slots per site and per vehicle group, public holidays included: you frame the rounds and spot abnormally long stops.
Telematics alerts and claims
Shock or impact, engine warning light, tire pressure for each wheel: the signals come up with their threshold. The Claims module ranks the vehicles and drivers most affected.
Energy transition of the vans
State of charge of electric vehicles, charging locations and an analysis of which vehicles suit going electric, to prepare the replacement of the combustion fleet.
How it works
- 1Import the fleet and the employees. Vans, contracts, sites, RFID badges; the due dates calculate themselves.
- 2Frame the rounds. Assignments and bookings in the schedule, zones and hours in geofencing.
- 3Handle the notices. The offenses and parking charges module cross-checks the date of the notice against the vehicle's assignment.
Who it is for
- Transport and logistics: the same rounds, the same availability constraints (see the industry page).
- Commercial fleets: shared vehicles and a benefit in kind to document (see the industry page).
- Fleet managers: the page dedicated to that role (read it).
A real round, during the demo
Bring a fine notice and one day of rounds: we trace the driver back on screen.
Your questions before getting started
- “My drivers change all the time.” Employees are created with their RFID badge and their site; assignment happens in the schedule, not in a spreadsheet.
- “Does every van need a device?” A GPS/OBD device or a factory-connected vehicle. The fleet, offenses and expense modules work without telematics.
- “Our vehicles are shared between two rounds.” Assignments and bookings are time-stamped: a vehicle can change hands several times in a day.
